Quickstart
This guide connects your website to EuniPay and checks one Test payment. You configure your business in the dashboard; a developer connects your website's payment page and server. Creating an Integration alone does not add payment to a website.
1. Prepare your account
In the EuniPay dashboard:
- Select Test.
- Complete Business profile with your legal business and VAT details.
- Open Stripe settings, save your Test credentials, and enable a test payment method. Follow the displayed instructions to register Stripe's payment-notification address and save its signing secret.
- Open Integrations and create an Integration named after your website.
- Configure the Integration's base currency, payment currencies, rates, and whether prices include VAT.
- Create an API key for this Integration and keep it private.
You are ready for the next step when: the Test business profile, Stripe connection, currency settings, and API key are saved.
2. Give your developer the connection details
Your developer needs four things:
| Item | Where it comes from | How it is used |
|---|---|---|
| EuniPay service address | The API service root provided by your service administrator | Your server sends requests here; do not use a dashboard login URL |
| EuniPay Test API key | The Integration created above | Stored on your server, never in the browser |
| Your payment page origin | Your website address, for example https://shop.example.com | Allows the payment form to run on your website |
| Your payment-result address | An endpoint your developer creates on your server | Receives EuniPay's payment notifications |
The Stripe signing secret and the EuniPay notification signing secret are different. Your developer stores each where its corresponding notification is verified.
3. Connect one order
Ask your developer to complete these steps in order:
- Send the customer's billing details to EuniPay using the customer's ID from your own system.
- Register your server's payment-result address with EuniPay and save the returned signing secret.
- When the customer chooses to pay, create a checkout with your order ID, customer ID, amount, currency, and return page.
- Show the returned payment form on your website. Your server keeps the API key; the browser receives only the checkout token.
- When EuniPay sends a verified successful-payment notification, update that order exactly once.
The connection guide explains each step's result. The developer can follow the complete first test payment tutorial without piecing together unrelated API pages.
4. Check the whole journey
Open your website, choose an order, and complete the payment with Stripe's Test payment details.
Check all three results:
- EuniPay shows the confirmed payment under Transactions in the correct Integration.
- Your website shows the order as paid or delivers the purchased service once.
- You can view the receipt once its PDF is ready.
For payment methods that leave your website, check that the customer returns to your chosen page. Returning alone must not mark the order paid.
If any result is missing, follow Troubleshooting. When all checks pass, use the Live checklist before accepting real payments.
