API keys
An API key lets your application connect to EuniPay. It belongs to one Integration and either Test or Live.
Create and use a key
- Select the correct environment.
- Open your application in Integrations.
- Create an API key, copy it, and save it securely.
- Paste it into your application's EuniPay connector settings, or give it to the developer responsible for the server connection.
The full key is shown only once. Multiple keys for the same Integration share its settings and records; use separate Integrations for separate applications.
Protect your key
Never put a secret key in browser code, mobile app code, a public repository, screenshots, or support messages. For your own application, keep it on the server.
For routine replacement, configure and test a new key before revoking the old one. If a key has been exposed, revoke it promptly and replace it.
Connection not working?
Check that the key was copied completely, is still active, and belongs to the expected Integration and environment. A Test key cannot access Live records.
See Troubleshooting for other connection problems. Developers can find authentication headers in the API reference.
